My Name is Kara and I am a full time mum of two beautiful boys, which makes my husband a breadwinner and us a one income family.  This has its challenges and I see being thrifty as an essential part of my “job”.  I keep my eye out for bargains and I rarely buy anything full price.  I blog about the deals I find, share tips on how to run a household on a budget and how to make your house look its best without spending tons of money.

Are my product reviews honest?

The answer is “Yes”.  Most of the time I review products that I buy or use in my home.  Occasionally, however, I get free or discounted products in return for a review.  This does not mean my review has to be a positive one.  I always form my opinion from a point of view of a customer paying a full price in a shop and I use the product as I would if I bought it myself.  If I do not like it or I believe the product is not worth the price, I will tell you about it.

Are any of my posts paid for?

From time to time I do get companies asking to advertise on my pages as they feel their products are appropriate for my readers.  All advertising will be clearly marked as such and will look like advertising, i.e. banners or other images.
